Judge Strathmann likes to focus on cases involving family law where she feels she can make the greatest meaningful impact on people’s lives.
In her free time, Judge Strathmann ardently gives back to her community through her work as a volunteer. Judge Strathmann serves on the Boards for the Boy Scouts of America Yucca Council, the Paso Del Norte Center of Hope, the League of Women Voters and is an active member/volunteer for the Lady Shriners of North America, the Rotary Club and youth sports organizations. She believes that being an involved member of her community and an engaged citizen helps her make the best decisions during her day job, and helps her understand what her friends and neighbors need most. She is committed to improving Texas through her career and community activism, and hopes she will be able to continue to serve as a judge for many years to come.
